Since the ending of the original Southern Necropolis Research Project in 1993, I have developed a strong passion for promoting the history and characters of the cemetery. There have been so many fascinating details and stories from within the many lairs and records of this unique “window on time”, and I am sure there are many more to come.

The website has been online now for over 15 years and it has been great making contact with so many people across the globe with ancestral links to the cemetery.


The new Lair Finds & Info section will include lairs found over the past years, and newer, more recent character information from my visits to the Southern Necropolis and updates via email contacts etc.
